This symposium was held as part of Sleep DownUnder 2024. It examines how large population-based studies, large population cohort studies, and clinical population studies can be used to generate knowledge and hypotheses regarding the link between sleep behaviours and sleep disorders, and more specifically about obstructive sleep apnoea and cardio-metabolic disorders and how the hypotheses generated in these studies can be tested in clinical trials.
